2015 Year in Review

In January, I moved into a new neighborhood, where we hope to plant the next church. Opened the community center in the bottom floor of my house. I also bought a car!

January through March was full of classes in Las Palmas and Jesus Maria. The kids club started in Palmas three and also wheel chairs were given out. The Jesus Maria church turned five years old! We had soccer tournaments, a team,

In April, I finished up a big study with the youth group on the book of Revelation

We also had the yearly easter egg hunt, with over 200 people hearing the Gospel!

May through July was FULL of teams, interns and activities! The church got water, paint, and a tile floor. Several community service projects were completed. Wheelchair events, soccer tournaments, etc. We also began the work of helping the Alburgue (home for abused and abandoned older people).  We had a week long sports camp and multiple different classes at the community center. It was a full summer and we were blessed by everyone that took part!

August, was a month to get ready for the fall. But, also came across a new ministry opportunity... helping at an orphanage!

September through the first part of December was really busy as classes started back up... along with the other ministries (orphanage and alburgue continued!). Also one of my best friends got married in November!

December ended the community center classes and was full of christmas parties! I am very thankful for a university in Mexico City and a Church in Puebla for donating so many things to both the shelter and orphanage. It was a Merry Christmas for them to get some items that will keep them warm, games for them to play, and items to call their own.

Of course there were some challenges in 2015, but all in all it was a great year. Yet again, I am blessed to be serving God in Mexico. I am grateful He has chosen me to be a part of what He is doing here! I look forward to what 2016 has in store. =0)
